Improved Support for User Locale

(non-English characters in dataset)

in

BlueSky Statistics v10.3.2 (Windows only)

We have improved support for locale. You should see the non-English characters in the datagrid and the output are shown correctly. Just in case, you do not see the non-English character correctly (in the datagrid or in the output), follow the steps below to set the locale in the app settings:

  1. Click on the triple dots from the top-level menu bar

  2. Now you should see “Settings” option in the toolbar (below top-level menus). Click “Settings” to open it.

  3. From the Settings dialog click R-LOCALE. This will expand the R-LOCALE section. Please go through the instructions about how to set your locale.

  4. You can either click on the dropdown to pick a locale that goes with your data (in the dataset) or you can hand type the locale, if you do not find any suitable option in the dropdown.

  5. Click on the Save button on the top right of the dialog to close it.

Locale support for legends in graphs/plots
