I am a complete newbie to Bluesky and R but have been looking for a reasonable solution to making Swimmer Plots. I was able to install Bluesky and even add the Swimplot Library that is described here:
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/swimplot/vignettes/Introduction.to.swimplot.html
The main problem I have is then trying to use Bluesky to utilize this library. From what I see, it seems to require that I add a new module, which then seems to require Javascript (and therefore JS knowledge and R skills of course!).
Has anyone on here succeeded in doing this and have a script for it? I even looked at other GUIs to see if anyone integrated swimplot, but generally speaking, BlueSky seems to be the best path so far... I just feel like I am one or two steps away from sucess but those are tall steps. The end goal would be to have a Swimplot module that is user-friendly so I can generate these Swimmer Plots as outlined in the linked description above.
Oh I totally get what you mean, I had the same “so close but not quite there” moment when I first messed around with swimplot in R. BlueSky does feel like the right direction, but that whole module plus JS setup is a bit of a wall. I ended up watching a couple walkthroughs and borrowing a starter script, which made the climb way less scary. Kind of like when I went searching for cheap nursing assignment helper support back in school once someone showed me the missing piece, everything clicked. Hang in there, you are honestly just a couple tweaks away.
